ABOUT YOU

You have 5+ years of professional experience building software for web based platforms. You enjoy a fast-paced, lean, collaborative environment and are eager to take on new challenges. You like the idea of being part of a team that is on the ground floor of things that could become big. You are ready to take on responsibility, grow and take the next step in your career.

• You have proven software engineering skills across languages such as JavaEE, SQL, HTML5, DOM and CSS.
• You have experience with data security and privacy, HIPAA is a plus.
• You have a strong working knowledge of AWS Administration and experience
• A bonus if you have experience with WebRTC and an interest in live streaming technology.
• You have experience building and maintaining public-facing API products or Developer Platforms
• You are a great communicator and can explain technical concepts to product managers, other engineers, and support teams.
• You are committed to personal and team excellence and someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves and do whatever it takes to get the job done. 
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal.

The value of an efficient, friendly, and productive receptionist is unmeasurable; but businesses are having an impossible time covering their front desks because of challenges with hiring, staff leaves, and demands for remote work. Our vision is to eliminate front desk staffing challenges by enabling receptionists to remotely greet visitors at any location, at any time. Using our innovative kiosk, visitors can fill in forms, print & scan IDs, submit payment, and more.

The Role

You will be a part of the WelcomeWare development team, maintaining and enhancing our web based platform.

1. You will spend your time brainstorming with other Engineers to conceptualize and build new features for our fast growing user base.
2. You will actively own features and systems defining their long-term health, while also improving the health of surrounding systems.
3. You will work closely with other engineers and deeply review code.
4. You will work with the team to improve standards, tooling, and processes.
5. As a team we are consistently learning. We reward success based on outcomes and team contributions – no egos and no bureaucracy.

We are a hybrid team, and are looking for someone who is excited to help build team culture with a geographically diverse group of people.
