Auth Specialist/Patient Care Coordinator - WFH/Hybrid-Alabang
Alabang, MuntinlupaAbout the Role:
We’re looking for an Auth specialist/Patient Care Coordinator to support the U.S.-based physical therapy client. You’ll verify patient insurance and eligibility, handle appointment scheduling, and assist with routine admin tasks, you may also welcome them via video.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and process insurance authorizations (auths) accurately and in a timely manner
- Contact insurance providers via phone or online portals to obtain necessary approvals and documentation
- Retrieve and upload EMR notes or related medical documentation as required
- Ensure all obtained documents are properly filed and entered into the EMR system
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies when handling patient information
- Greet patients via video call
- Schedule appointments based on treatment plans
- Process/collect payments
Qualifications:
- BPO customer service experience
- Understands U.S. insurance (verification & pre-authorization)
- Demonstrate familiarity with medical billing, different insurance platforms and specific authorization processes
- Strong English communication skills
- Familiarity with EMR systems, CPT/ICD codes, and explanation of benefits
- Background in payment collection and processing, medical admin, PT, or related fields is a plus
Additional Notes:
- This is a full-time role with Civicom (not freelance)
- Candidates who live within an hour to Alabang are preferred
- Onsite work required during power/internet issues (Business Continuity Plan)
