HR Organization Development Lead

This means execution and assisting in the management of key HR organizational development initiatives within the company.
Our HROD Group is new, so we are looking for someone who is excited to be part of a small team, someone who is collaborative, a strategist but also a doer with a passion for getting things done. This means that you have held positions where you not only executed, but you had an active role in leading people and leading initiatives.
In this role, you are expected to:
- Draft, interpret, and guide the enforcement of company policies and guidelines
- Be part of a group that periodically reviews, updates, and maintains the Handbook to ensure policies are fair and reasonable to employees and the Company, that the Handbook is aligned with business goals and the PH Labor Code / DOLE advisories, when and if applicable
- Communicate policy changes to stakeholders and employees
- Manage disciplinary, corrective, and preventive actions and performance management – this includes carefully discussing all the details of the incident or situation; formulating and presenting next steps to the immediate supervisor of the employee, the BU head, GM and Global HR Head; recommending any additional action items such as further investigation, evidence gathering, admin hearing and clarificatory meetings;
- Maintain a robust documentation system for workplace issues, complaints, investigations, disciplinary actions, and any relevant artifacts, ensuring clear and detailed records that support fair decision-making and all employee matters requiring HR intervention.
- Collaborate with various business units to identify gaps in knowledge and skills in close coordination with the General Manager, Head of HR, and HROD Manager. Help in developing training materials to address identified gaps
- Coordinate with the larger HR team in the delivery of expected services by by employees and business departments, and that there’s a consistent employee experience throughout the company
- Be willing to learn and improve in areas where expertise may be lacking
Requirements:
- Relevant educational and/or training background and/or related certification/s
- Relevant hands-on experience in managing & resolving workplace conduct & employee performance issues, as well as developing learning and development programs
- Team player who is not afraid to get their hands dirty, shows grace under pressure, and has a “can do” attitude
- Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in the English language, both verbal and written
- Has initiative and a high level of critical thinking, great at following instructions and adhering to processes but also is able to think or improve on a task or process at hand when necessary
- Goal oriented, dependable, and has the ability to adjust to changing conditions or priorities
- Ability to understand business needs and deliver the solutions
- Ability to motivate people, shows compassion and care, while consistently advocating for the core values of the Company
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Willing to adjust work schedules based on business needs and to report whenever needed in our office in Alabang, Muntinlupa City
