Virtual Patient Care Coordinator-Level 2|WFH/Hybrid

Alabang, Muntinlupa

The Role:

In this virtual position, you will be greeting incoming patients with a smile and reviewing their information to verify insurance coverage, eligibility, and if there is pre-authorization needed from our client to provide the physical therapy services they offer. You will also review medical records, schedule patient appointments, and perform other admin tasks and routine office duties.

 

Additional Details:

  • Competitive Salary Package (Up to P35K total package)
  • Work schedule: Primarily Mondays to Fridays (Night Shift) – Rest days and the schedule may vary based on the client’s time zone or specific requirements
  • Hybrid Setup: You’ll be onsite twice a week during the first month for training, and then once a month after training. In cases of power or internet outages and as needed by the Operations, you’ll be required to be onsite as part of our Business Continuity Plan (BCP)
  • Equipment will be provided
  • You will be employed directly by Civicom; this is not a freelance VA position
  • Candidates with a travel time of one hour or less to Alabang are strongly encouraged to apply

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greeting patients with a smile virtually (on camera)
  • Reviewing patient Electronic Medical Records to verify their insurance and collect co-pay/co ins/deductible payments before services are rendered
  • Communicating with insurance providers to assess patient eligibility
  • Verifying patient insurance coverage
  • Entering notes & prescriptions into the patient’s records
  • Scheduling future patient appointments according to their treatment plan
  • Staying updated with routine office duties & admin tasks throughout the workday

 

Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in Customer Service in a BPO setting
  • Working knowledge of US-based insurance programs, including verification and pre-authorization requirements
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with a local and foreign team
  • Sales experience in a BPO setting is advantageous but not required
  • Experience with EMR Systems is a plus but not required
  • Licensure or experience with Physical Therapy, Sports Rehab, Hospital Administration, etc., is a plus but not required
  • Medical office / administrative experience a plus
