Software Engineer

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software Engineer (Entry to Mid-Level) to join our growing development team. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in JavaEE and software design principles, with a desire to grow and contribute to meaningful projects in an Agile/Scrum environment.

KEY DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable JavaEE-based applications.
• Apply the MVC design pattern in building modular and maintainable code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions.
• Use version control tools (Git) to manage code changes.
• Work with IDEs such as VSCode and Eclipse for development and debugging.
• Write clear, maintainable documentation and adhere to development standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in JavaEE development.
• Solid understanding of the MVC architectural pattern.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Experience with Git for source control.
• Comfortable using VSCode and/or Eclipse as a development environment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Wildfly application server.
• Exposure to Vue.js or other modern frontend frameworks.
• Basic knowledge of CSS for UI styling.
• Understanding of Relational Databases (RDBMS) and SQL.
• Basic knowledge of different OSs, like Ubuntu or Linux environment
