Social Media Specialist (Analytics Focus)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. This role is integral to our marketing efforts, focusing heavily on data analysis, performance metrics, and reporting to measure the effectiveness of our social media initiatives. Additionally, the ideal candidate will work closely with the SEO Strategist to assist with reporting and analytics, ensuring our digital strategies are data-driven, effective and meet the objectives of the company.

The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience managing social media campaigns and pay-per-click advertising with a proven track record. You will be responsible for developing social paid ads, post content writing, image development, and video creation to support social media campaigns. Manage all company social media properties, analyze performance metrics, develop a plan of action, and respond to reader comments.

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Analyze social media performance metrics to inform strategy and improve engagement.
  • Monitor and report on key social media KPIs (engagement, reach, conversion rates, etc.).
  • Conduct competitive analysis and benchmark performance against competitors.
  • Develop and implement data-driven strategies to optimize social media campaigns.
  • Assist the SEO Strategist in compiling and analyzing SEO performance reports.
  • Track and report on website traffic and user behavior from social media channels.
  • Create and manage dashboards for real-time performance tracking.
  • Collaborate with the content team to provide insights on content performance.
  • Identify trends and insights from social media data to inform content strategy.
  • Stay updated with the latest social media trends and analytics tools.
  • Support in setting up and optimizing paid social media campaigns.
  • Present findings and recommendations to the marketing team and stakeholders.
  • Communicating with social media followers, including responding to queries promptly and forwarding them to the appropriate department for further follow-up if necessary
  • Using analytical tools such as HubSpot, Google Analytics, and Facebook Insights to monitor, evaluate, and track the various brands’ social media presence and performance
  • Managing followers and implementing strategies to gain followers consistently
  • Develop and manage LinkedIn, Facebook and Google pay-per-click ads
  • Performing other duties when needed

 

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3-6 years experience as a social media specialist or similar position
  • Excellent critical thinking, interpersonal, communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent knowledge of social media platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook
  • Understanding of social media KPIs, web traffic metrics, and SEO
  • Experience doing audience persona research
  • Familiarity graphic and web design
  • Experience with pay-per-click advertising on social platforms and search engines
  • Excellent English language skills
