Home-based Transcribers
Alabang, Muntinlupa
We are looking for a Home-based transcriber in an independent contractor role who will be tasked to:
- Transcribe meeting notes, interviews, focus groups, and other recorded audios
- Edit and/or proofread transcription work
- Ensure that transcript files are submitted with high quality and in a timely manner
- Clean up or edit machine transcripts when neededAt times or when able, analyze transcripts and enter data into a templated sheet
- Liaise with a transcription coordinator on a regular basis for project information, feedback and communication with in-house editing team
- It’s as simple as we assign an audio file for you to download and transcribe by 7 AM local, you transcribe the file at your leisure, and upload it back to our server by 8PM local the same day.
We’re looking for a Really Good Person who:
- Excellent command of the English language
- Transcriptions experience is a plus
- Ability to research terms online
- Good typing speed or an average typing speed of at least 50wpm
- Has reliable internet, computer with updated operating system and antivirus
If you’re the right for any of our vacancies, you can expect:
- $0.25 USD paid per recorded minute transcribed
- + $0.10 USD bonus paid per recorded minute when submitting clean or client-ready files.
- Opportunity to earn up to $700+ USD each month for transcribers who can finish one hour of audio per day or a total of 20 audio file hours each month
- Opportunity to receive up to 10% monthly bonus from total earnings
