JOB SUMMARY
Hey DAN is a premiere voice-to-CRM solution that provides transcription, CRM entry, data management, and other administrative services to salespeople to help them focus on what they do best — selling! Since 2006, Hey DAN has served more than 7,000 road warriors and currently serves over 60 accounts from the financial sector and other industries. The “Business Transcription Specialist” reports to the Client Delivery Manager and works with team members to ensure that all deliverables of the account are met. He/She will perform operational duties that include transcription, proofreading, entry of notes into the account’s CRM system, and basic data management tasks.
Additionally, this role is responsible for providing basic client support via email or telephone. This role is entry level and will serve as the catalyst for a successful career in Operational Management or Strategy and Analytics for the right candidate.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Typing skills (at least 45 WPM)
- Good English comprehension and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Good research skills – able to use available reference tools and exhaust all resources to ensure work accuracy and quality
- Good hearing acuity
- Attention to detail
- Foundational knowledge of the client’s processes and account specifications
- Understanding of Hey DAN’s internal processes, policies, and core values
- Good sense of self-management and accountability
- Adaptability to changing process/situations
- Goal-orientedness and willingness to learn
- Mindset and ability to meet standard performance requirements set by Operations
KEY DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Transcribe audio files into an online web interface with high level of quality and attention to detail
- Work on tasks shifting between transcription and CRM entry, as needed
- Research, analyze, and update data management lists with a keen eye for safeguarding the integrity of the data
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external clients via email, telephone, and other channels when the need arises
- Be goal-driven—adhere to company’s performance standards
- Be a positive advocate for the causes of the company
