The Role
As a Healthcare Specialist, you will virtually greet incoming patients with a smile and reviewing their information to verify insurance coverage, eligibility, and if there is pre-authorization needed from our client to provide the physical therapy services they offer. You will also review medical records, schedule patient appointments, and perform other admin tasks to maintain a high standard of service.
Additional Details:
- Work schedule: Mondays to Thursdays, 4:00 AM – 7:00 AM (early morning, local time). Open to a shifting or flexible schedule if needed
- Salary range: Php 200 per hour
- Work set-up: WFH (preferably within South Luzon or South Metro Manila)
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greeting patients with a smile virtually (on camera)
- Reviewing patient Electronic Medical Records to verify their insurance and collect co-pay/co-ins/deductible payments before services are rendered
- Communicating with insurance providers to assess patient eligibility
- Verify patient insurance coverage
- Entering notes & prescriptions into the patient’s records
- Scheduling future patient appointments according to their treatment plan
- Staying updated with routine office duties & admin tasks throughout the workday
Qualifications:
- Relevant experience in Customer Service, Pre-Authorization, Medical Reception in a BPO setting at least 2-3 years
- Working knowledge about US-based insurance pre-authorization, verification, health claims, and eligibility claims
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with a local and foreign team
- Enthusiastic and has pleasing personality
- Experience with WebPT is a plus but not required
- Willing to report onsite in our Alabang office on some days
