Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and tech-savvy Junior Financial Analyst to be part of a team supporting a global financial services firm. This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to both financial advisory services and alternative data management. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, onsite environment. This role combines financial analysis, data processing, and alternative investment data management responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis and Data Processing:
- Accurately process and encode financial data into internal systems and databases.
- Ensure data integrity and completeness during the input process.
- Maintain organized and easily accessible digital records.
- Gather and consolidate financial information from various sources to create comprehensive client portfolio summaries.
- Assist in the reconciliation of portfolio holdings and transactions.
- Maintain up-to-date portfolio data within the system.
- Prepare routine and ad-hoc financial reports, charts, and summaries as requested by Financial Advisors.
- Assist in the preparation of client presentations and meeting materials.
- Ensure accuracy and clarity in all reporting documents.
- Provide administrative and analytical support to Financial Advisors.
- Assist with research, data gathering, and analysis for client meetings and financial planning.
- Support client service activities under the direction of Financial Advisors.
- Create and reconcile transaction level data in Excel.
Alternative Data Management:
- Oversee the organization of fund documents within operational systems.
- Enrich unstructured data into existing data infrastructures.
- Maintain completeness, timeliness, and accuracy of relevant investment data through validation and control processes.
- Follow best practices for managing investor information to maintain consistency and ensure compliance with internal standards.
- Collaborate across teams to provide insights from alternative investment data across multiple reporting platforms and systems.
- Continuously look for ways to automate and improve existing processes.
- Maintain and share standard operating procedures.
- Download, organize, and rename files.
- Document management.
- Create, circulate, and track Letters of Authorization (LOA’s).
- Escalate system and data issues to client facing team and/or team lead.
General Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all company policies and industry regulations regarding data security and client confidentiality.
- Handle sensitive financial information with utmost discretion and trustworthiness.
- Perform other administrative and clerical duties as assigned to support the team.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 0-2 years Data Entry experience or 0-3 years in data management, analysis, or financial operations.
- Tech Savvy: Demonstrated comfort and proficiency with technology, including data entry systems, spreadsheets (e.g., Excel), and databases. Ability to learn new software quickly.
- Data Processing Skills: Strong ability to process and handle numerical data with accuracy and efficiency.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks, particularly data entry and report preparation.
- Communication Skills: Excellent English communication skills, both verbally and written. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and potentially clients (under supervision).
- Dependability and Trustworthiness: Highly dependable, reliable, and trustworthy. Must be able to consistently meet deadlines and handle confidential information responsibly.
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and tasks as needed.
- Work Schedule: TBD; may require some flexibility, schedule will be determined by client
- Onsite Work: Must be able to work onsite at our Alabang office.

Preferred (Nice to Have):
- Background in Finance: Prior coursework or internship experience in finance, financial analysis, or a related field.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with financial software or CRM systems. Advanced Excel skills (e.g., formulas, pivot tables).
- Analytical Skills: Basic understanding of financial analysis concepts and principles.
- General understanding of the alternative investment landscape.
- Experience: Previous experience in an office environment or customer service role is a plus.
