The Role
In this virtual position, you will be greeting incoming patients with a smile and reviewing their information to verify insurance coverage, eligibility, and if there is pre-authorization needed from our client to provide the physical therapy services they offer. You will also review medical records, schedule patient appointments, and perform other admin tasks to maintain a high standard of service.
Additional Details:
- Salary Range: PHP 30,000 – 35,000 Total package
- Work schedule: Fixed Mondays to Fridays. 11 PM – 8 AM Manila Time
- This role is a Hybrid role with all equipment provided
- Should there be a power/internet outage, a continuity plan to work onsite (Muntinlupa) will be followed

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greeting patients with a smile virtually (on camera)
- Reviewing patient Electronic Medical Records to verify their insurance and collect co-pay/co-ins/deductible payments before services are rendered
- Communicating with insurance providers to assess patient eligibility
- Verify patient insurance coverage
- Entering notes & prescriptions into the patient’s records
- Scheduling future patient appointments according to their treatment plan
- Staying updated with routine office duties & admin tasks throughout the workday
Qualifications:
- Relevant experience in Customer Service, Pre-Authorization, Medical Reception in a BPO setting
- Working knowledge about US-based insurance pre-authorization, verification, health claims, and eligibility claims
- Passionate to help patients, with a strong and collaborative team player attitude
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with an on/off shore team
- Experience with WebPT is a plus but not required
- Licensure or experience with Physical Therapy, Sports Rehab, Hospital Administration, etc., is a plus but not required
- Candidate must be able to start ASAP
